The addition of shrimp or chicken makes it a hearty and satisfying starter.

Another favorite is the Pad Thai. Known worldwide, Pad Thai at Thai Kitchen Anchorage stands out due to its perfect mix of textures. The stir-fried rice noodles are soft yet have a slight crispiness, thanks to the quick stir-fry process. The dish is packed with peanuts, lime, and fresh vegetables, topped with your choice of protein, be it shrimp, chicken, or tofu. Every bite offers a delightful crunch and a hint of sweetness from the tamarind sauce, paired with the tang of lime.

Food was delicious, wait staff was very friendly, although there were some long wait times to get menus and to pay because they were so busy. They could use at least 1 more person on the floor.

This place is a true gem. I would call it one of Alaska’s finest restaurants - hands down. I used to order from them years ago, and I ordered from them last night for the first time in well over a decade. It’s just as amazing as I remember the last time. I recently went to Thailand and tried the real deal at multiple establishments in Bangkok and Pattaya. This place is comparable to the best Thai food I had the whole time in Thailand. I would recommend it to anyone.
